Baḍa Beluna – Śrīpāṭa of Śrīla Mādhavendra Purī’s disciple Śrī Ananta Purī

Baḍa Beluna is situated in the district of Bardhamān. Boarding a train from Kāṭwā in Kāṭwā-Bardhamān rail- way route one can get down at Bhātāra station. From there one has to travel four kilometers towards east to reach this Śrīpāṭa.

This place is the Śrīpāṭa of Śrī Ananta Purī. Śrī Ananta Purī is the disciple of Śrīla Mādhvendra Purī. It is described in Śrīpāṭa Nirṇaya-

belune ananta purī mahimā pracura

There are many glories of Ananta Purī in Beluna.

At present, Bādhā Ṭilā and Śrī Rādhā Govinda are worshiped here.
