Śrīpāṭa of Ananta Ṭhākura, son of Pānuyāgopāla Ṭhākura

Khayrāsola is situated in the district of Bīrbhūm. Boarding a train from Bandel one can get down at Anḍāla station and from there one can come to Pāṅcrā station through chord line in Anḍāla-Sāṅithiyā railway route. Or else, one can get down at Sāṅithiyā by rail towards Rāmapurhāṭa from Bandel and from there one can come to Pāṅcrā by train towards Anḍāla. From there at a distance of three kilometers this Śrīpāṭa is situated. This distance can be covered by rickshaw-van. Over and above this, one can also come to this Śrīpāṭa by bus from Dubarājpura which is at a distance of fourteen kilometers.

This Śrīpāṭa is a branch of Maṅgalaḍihi Maṭha. The descendants of Ananta Ṭhākura who is one of the five sons of Pānuyāgopāla of Maṅgalaḍihi, are residing here. The Balarāma Deity worshiped by Pānuyāgopāla is present here. Balarāma alongwith Revatī are exhibit- ed here with His Plough and Pestle. The Deity worship in the temple is well organized. There are twenty three Śālagrāma Śilās in the temple and there is a large extended courtyard in front of the temple. A Swing altar, a room for storing the Ratha and Śiva temple are situated outside the temple. Gopāṣṭamī festival is celebrated on Gopāṣṭamī day in the month of Kārtika (October-November) and this is the biggest festival here. There are fiftyfive partners here who administer the worship in an organized manner.
